Let your city be your musician!

In this workshop the participants can understand the entire process of music production by exploring the sounds of the city. Producing tracks by mixing music with real sounds, they compose a city anthem as a marketing jingle

Learning Objectives:

  1. Basics of Music Production
  2. Creative Compilation
  3. Creating and Editing Music

Program Activities

  • Evolution of music – Listen to soundtrack medleys that depict the journey of anthem music
  • Pre-Prouction and Prototyping – Conceptualize, Plan, Create logs for all necessary sound clips. Create sample clips
  • My Recorder, My Composition – Find the right sounds that you would need to complete your Anthem. Get introduced to mixing music
  • Troubleshooting and Exporting – Make the completed version of your Anthem
  • Troubleshooting and Exporting – Render the completed version of your Audio-Visual
  • Reflection – ‘Ripples-in-the-pond’ – Internalize learning, learn scope of music/film industry

The program is being organized at the Experience Lab situated at the office of Institute of Experiential Learning, Infantry Road Bangalore.
