A lesser known profession, Museology is study of museums, curating objects and effective presentation.It also overs aspects of how museums developed an institutional role in education through social and political forces.
In this Pathfinderlearners explore how private collection of art translate to a public experience with museum presentations. Developing an understanding of how museums around the world are spaces encouraging knowledge and education in culture and promote tourism.
They learn about museums as a mode of communication and experience. One is encouraged to think beyond displays, to the realm of research, presentation and education through material and experiential sources.

  • Introduction to Museuology
  • Learning about useums around the globe – establishment of funded foundations

  • Small-scale museum setup
  • Optional – Visits to museums (culture, technology, art) and sessions with a curator
