The Experiential Learning Foundation

Institute of Experiential Learning is established by the 'Experiential Learning Foundation Trust'. A public chartable trust registered under the Indian Trust act 1882, is an educational trust that supports education, sponsors research and development towards innovative methods of learning, and nurtures various educational causes. 

Mehar Zariwala

Currently Director of the Institute of Exp Learning. A Telecommunications Engineer by profession, Mehar explored the boundaries of her inter-personal skills and love for the outdoors by establishing Wind Chasers, an Outdoor-Learning based organization.
It promoted learning through adventure and travel experiences for both adults and children.

Through this successful venture over 6 years, she began to believe that her contribution to the changing paradigms in education could be through experiential learning.  At the institute she is deeply involved with conceptualizing and designing content for programs that are hands-on and learner centric targeting all ages of learners and explorers.

An avid reader, thinker, traveler and foodie, she leads the organization with a passion to learn and grow. She is focussed on incremental constructive change and is currently involved with creative educational content development, assessment and pedagogy.

Maria Kokila R.

A Commerce graduate, Kokila is an avid traveler, linguist and photographer and co-founded 'Wind Chasers' along with Mehar in 2007. An experienced marketing expert and team player she brings 12 years of marketing acumen and organizational skills to INEXEL.
She has led trekking groups to the Himalayas and is a wilderness guide.

Olinda Timms

A graduate of Christian Medical College, Vellore, Dr. Olinda Timms has worked as Consultant Anesthesiologist at various hospitals in Bangalore. Her interest in Medical Ethics led her to qualify further in Bioethics from ICMR-NIH and Medical Law and Ethics from NLSIU, Bangalore.
She currently teaches and speaks on topics related to medical ethics, designs curriculum and contributes articles to local newspapers and magazines on the subject..











Collin R Timms

A civil engineer by profession and businessman by occupation, Mr Timms has many successful business ventures to his credit. He is also founder director of Guardian Bank, Bangalore and officiates on the board of numerous organizations in India and abroad.
Trustee of The Bridge Foundation Bangalore, he is passionate about enabling and mentoring new enterprise and encouraging socially responsible businesses.


Aswin Vijayraghavan

Aswin is one of the youngest and most passionate experientialists at INEXEL. This Mechanical Engineer has found his calling in education and is an ardent believer in experiential learning. His work at the institute involves wearing multiple hats that include training, content design, visual communication and project execution.

He is trained in NLP and enjoys facilitating and coaching young adults, apart from being involved in acting and theatre, which are also close to his heart.

Saji Kadampattil

Musician at heart and experientialist by day, this lover of folk music and arts contributes his valuable time at the institute facilitating experiences. Saji has been active as a people trainer and communication specialist for various corporate organizations and institute.

He is passionate about bringing a change in the way we learn and this thought binds him to the vision of the institute. People trainer, perpetual traveler and creative thinker, Saji is an ardent researcher of folk music.

Disha Parekh Thakkar

Disha develops and manages INEXEL assignments in Mumbai

She holds a Masters in Economics and has completed the CFA (USA) program. She has a rich and varied experience in the financial services domain which includes stints across Private Banking, Research & Analytics, Risk Advisory and Learning & Development in multinational organisations like Ernst & Young and HSBC

While working with the bank, she developed a keen interest in L & D and has been facilitating trainings for students and corporates ever since. In her last stint, she has strategically partnered a large business unit for its learning requirements and has successfully executed large international deliverables. She is enthusiastic about exploring alternative training methodologies and tailoring result oriented, learner centric training interventions. She is excited to strengthen and continue the dynamic pedagogy of the foundation
